El nombre de esta tinta proviene de las iniciales de Bungu Box Blue Black. El objetivo era crear el color tradicional japonés "koiai".
Se encuentra entre el color tradicional francés "Agate" y el color tradicional japonés "Menou".

BunguBox was established by Kaoru Yamagishi with the mission of "communicating, spreading, and preserving" the joy of writing to for future generations. We visited their physical shop in Tokyo in 2025 February, it is based in in Jimbo-cho, known as the "Quartier latin of Tokyo." They have lots of unique collaborative fountain pen that you cannot find anywhere. Their inks of Heel-shaped bottled are gorgeous with very high quality. BunguBox is particular about the color of the ink, which is essential for writing with a fountain pen. We would like to spread the joy of choosing ink colors together with Bungubox and you gus as well.
Each ink comes with a heel-shaped bottle.The unique box packaging allows you to tilt the bottle at an angle when it’s running low, for easy dipping or refilling.

The name of this ink comes from the initials of Bungu Box Blue Black.
The aim was to create the traditional Japanese color "koiai".
It stands between the traditional French color of "Agate" and the traditional Japanese color of "Menou".
