La nueva edición de las Preppy WA está aquí, y esta vez en una versión mejorada con técnica de modern maki-e.
Al igual que las versiones anteriores, son 6 diseños con el cuerpo decorado con seis motivos japoneses tradicionales y elegantes, pero esta vez están realizadas mediante la técnica japonesa única, denominada Maki-e moderno, la misma que se utiliza en las Vicoh y Century, una técnica que da un valor especial a cada una de ellas.
Cada pieza vendrá empaquetada de manera individual en un packaging personalizado especial de Preppy WA.
MODERN MAKI-E: A diferencia del Maki-e convencional, se aplica con serigrafía en lugar de laca urushi en la capa inferior. Luego se espolvorea con polvos de colores, como oro o plata, y se realiza el acabado a mano, uno a uno, por los artesanos del Maki-e. Este proceso aporta más grosor que la impresión normal, además los reflejos y matices de los polvos consiguen dar una sensación tridimensional añadida.
Preppy ha sido un modelo muy popular desde su lanzamiento en 2007, como estilográfica de bajo precio, proporcionando una auténtica experiencia de escritura. El plumín de acero inoxidable con punta de aleación especial, resistente al desgaste, es de la mejor calidad en esta gama de precios.

The new edition of the Preppy WA is here, and this time in an improved version with the modern maki-e technique.
Like the previous versions, there are 6 designs with the body decorated with six traditional and elegant Japanese motifs, but this time they are made using the unique Japanese technique, called modern Maki-e, the same one used in the Vicoh and Century, a technique that gives special value to each of them. Maki-e is a time-intensive decoration technique in which metal powders are sprinkled over wet lacquer, then allowed to cure.
Each piece will come individually packaged in special custom Preppy WA packaging.
MODERN MAKI-E: Unlike conventional Maki-e, it is applied with screen printing instead of urushi lacquer on the bottom layer. It is then sprinkled with colored powders, such as gold or silver, and finished by hand, one by one, by the Maki-e artisans. This process provides more thickness than normal printing, and the reflections and nuances of the powders give an added three-dimensional sensation.
Preppy has been a very popular model since its launch in 2007, as a low-priced fountain pen, providing an authentic writing experience. The stainless steel nib with special alloy tip, wear-resistant, is of the best quality in this price range.
